That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Meet the Dallas Team Behind Hollis Air Duct Dallas
We’ve been cleaning ducts in Dallas since 2004, and the crew we have now is the best we’ve fielded. They show up inside the quoted window, they put the price in writing before the first tool comes off the truck, and they leave the site cleaner than they found it. That last part sounds small. It isn’t. You live in the house we’re working in, and you’ll notice if we don’t respect it. Roy Castellanos built this team around a simple idea: hire people who’d treat your home like their own, then train them on professional-grade equipment until the work is second nature.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Technician
Marcus has run duct cleaning crews in the Dallas market for over a decade, and he’s seen just about everything a forty-year-old ranch house in Mesquite can hide in its return plenum. His specialty is the negative-air method, which is the part of the job where we put the entire duct system under vacuum so dust and debris get pulled out instead of pushed around. He’s certified on Rotobrush rotary brush systems and Nikro negative-air machines, and he can look at a register and tell you whether the last crew actually cleaned the trunk line or just made the vents look good. Marcus keeps a small notebook in his back pocket where he sketches duct layouts for complicated jobs. He says it beats trying to explain a plenum to a homeowner with hand gestures.
Devon R. – Senior Installer, Duct Sealing
Devon handles most of our duct sealing work, which is a different animal from cleaning. When a duct system leaks, you’re paying to heat and cool your attic, and Devon’s the one who finds the leaks and seals them with mastic, not tape. Mastic is the paste-like sealant that actually holds up over time. Duct tape dries out and falls off; mastic stays put. Devon has been with Hollis for eight years and he’s the person we send when a homeowner in Plano or Richardson says a room never gets cool enough. His pet peeve is a flex duct that’s been kinked by someone rushing an installation. He’ll fix it, seal it, and test the airflow before he calls the job done. Outside of work, Devon restores old motorcycles, which means he’s unreasonably good at finding air leaks. It transfers.
Lena S. – Service Coordinator
Lena is the voice on the phone when you call (361) 309-6223. She’s been with Hollis Air Duct Dallas for six years, and she’s the reason our phones get answered by a live person around the clock, not a voicemail tree. Her job is to know the schedule, know the crew’s locations, and know what questions to ask so the technician who shows up is the right one for the job. If you’re in Carrollton and your dryer vent hasn’t been cleaned in years, Lena will tell you what to expect, how long the job typically takes, and what it’ll cost before anyone schedules a visit. She keeps a running list of every home we’ve served, and she remembers the oddball ones, like the Lakewood house with the duct return hidden behind a bookshelf. Lena grew up in Oak Cliff and knows the neighborhoods well enough to give technicians realistic traffic notes. That saves everyone time.
Chris M. – Apprentice Technician
Chris is the newest member of the crew, and he’s been training under Marcus for the better part of two years. Apprenticeship here means running the vacuum hoses, sealing off registers, and learning the difference between a supply duct and a return. Chris is already certified on the Rotobrush equipment and he’s about halfway through his training on the negative-air setup. He’s meticulous about the small stuff, like laying down corner guards before a hose goes through your hallway, and he’s the one who double-checks that every register is reattached before we leave. Chris spent four years in the Navy before coming home to Dallas, and he’ll tell you that shipboard ventilation training makes residential ductwork look straightforward. He’s not wrong, but don’t get him started on it unless you’ve got time.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Hollis location operates independently under the same operational rules, what we call The Garrison Standard. It’s not a slogan. It’s a checklist. Arrive inside the quoted window. Put the price in writing before any work starts. Do the job by the book, using the professional-grade equipment we’re trained on. Leave the site clean. If the work fails within a year, we come back at no charge under the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and that includes a free second visit if a repair doesn’t hold. Roy Castellanos has been holding this Dallas crew to that standard since 2004, and every technician on this page knows it’s the reason people call us back and refer us to neighbors. The equipment matters. The training matters. But the standard is what makes the team worth trusting.
